Fourth TEAMx Workshop
19-20 November 2024
The 4th TEAMx Workshop will take place on 19-20 November 2024 in Innsbruck in the Inn Valley Target Area, with a hybrid option to join online.
Two months after the start of the TOC in mid-September and two months before the start of the winter EOP in mid-January, the Workshop will focus on the activities and logistics for the TOC.
- Information will be provided about field activities during both the winter and summer EOPs, including the planned aircraft flights.
- TEAMx scientists will be presenting their research plans for the data they are collecting during the TOC.
- Information will be provided about the logistics for the TOC, including the daily weather briefings, how a decision for or against an IOP will be made, and the data exchange during the TOC. Feedback from the Workshop participants will be collected during discussion sessions to fine-tune these plans. In the afternoon of the second Workshop day, there will also be an opportunity to visit the Operations Center.
- The NWP community will introduce their modeling activities for the TOC.
- Working groups, task teams, and other groups are asked to get in contact with the PCO as soon as possible if they would like to use the Workshop for a group meeting.
